Aspire Training works along side Bury College and Care to Learn to enable teenage parents aged 16-19 years of age to complete their Level 2 and Level 3 in Childcare. A Bury College tutor does one full day class on site at Rosehill Nursery, Manchester Road, Bolton. Baby Basics is a project that supports new mothers in Bolton & Bury who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby. Baby Basics provides much needed essential baby items to vulnerable families, this may be in response to domestic abuse, homelessness, trafficking, or poverty. Working with midwives, health visitors, and other professional groups, Baby Basics provides support directly where it is needed most. Families and Babies (F.A.B.) have been a registered Charity since 2010. We were initially set up to provide support to new mums and dads with Breastfeeding and Infancy Nutrition. Over the years, our work has developed to also support mums with Post-natal Depression by spotting the early warning signs and helping them to get the support they need along with supporting new mums when in a Domestic Violence situation.
