    SNUFS is a Local Voluntary Organisation which supports pre school children, aged between two and five years who have additional support needs. Our Volunteers support on a 1-1 basis in mainstream childcare settings across the Borough. Children are referred to the organisation if it is felt that extra support would help them to integrate fully and benefit from all the experiences offered within their local pre-school setting.

We offer variety of services and activities from educational, health and well being, leisure, Yoga, chair based exercise and holistic therapies.     Beanstalk trains and places volunteers in local primary schools to work with 6-11 year olds. They work with the same three children each week during term time to improve reading ability, social skills and confidence. One and a half hours commitment twice a week is essential and we ask that you commit to a minimum of 12 months. Volunteers gain just as much from the sessions as the children do!

    We help all people who have MS in Bolton and surrounding areas by holding collections at local supermarkets, donations and many other ways with the help of our London Offices. You can join in with our seated Tai-Chi classes held every Tuesday at the Slaterfield Day Centre and we also offer an exercise class every Thursday morning at the Jubilee Day Centre, both of these are FREE. We hold two meals a year, one in the summer and the other at Christmas and we also we meet up at the Olympus Chippy

    BLISS provides support and care to families of premature and sick babies. The Bolton Bliss support group is a very active support group with great links to the local NICU (neonatal intensive-care unit). Mark and Sarah organise meetings as well as family days. Many families have found this is a great way to get together, chat and make new friends.
