Bolton Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit organisation which performs a wide selection of ambitious music. The orchestra performs around six concerts per year. Formed in 1993, the BSO calls on a total of up to 150 musicians to make up the required format for its concerts, BSO contributes significantly to the cultural life of Bolton and the North West, and the majestic Albert Hall, part of Bolton Town Hall, provides the venue for the orchestra's concerts.
