Forrest is the largest club in the Bolton League famed for producing their own junior players. The club has received Premier Club Mark Accreditation with Badminton England to become the first club in Lancashire to achieve this award. We field seven teams in the Bolton League, two teams in the Whitefield League and one team in the Leigh League. As well as senior members, we have over 40 junior members. I have NVQ level 3 certificate in Childcare and Education a current First Aid qualification and ICP level 3 certificate in Childminding Practice, Registered Overnight Carer. All meals are provided and I encourage the children I care for to eat healthily. I have a large outdoor play area and the children get plenty of outdoor time during the milder months. We go to toddler groups and children's play areas at least 3 times a week. Meadow Hill is a small two shale court club to be found out of sight down the lane on the opposite side of Chorley New Rd, Lostock to Bolton Golf Club. Club days are Saturday afternoons form 2pm and Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm. We have two teams in the Bolton Men's League playing Monday nights and one team in the Bolton Mixed League playing Tuesdays. The courts are of course available to members other times by mutual arrangement. Live from Worktown is a community led voluntary organisation committed to bringing art, culture and heritage awareness back into the town centres of the Borough. It is currently mounting a Heritage Lottery funded exhibition on the life and work of Bill Naughton, one of Bolton's most successful writers renowned for his short stories, radio and stage plays, and film scripts including Spring and Port Wine and Alfie.
