We are a voluntary group who help Bolton Council to improve the use and appearance of Longsight Park, Harwood. We also look after the flower beds in Harwood and some of the surrounding footpaths. We are a group of friends working in Moss Bank Park. We have been helping to maintain and improve the Walled Garden since 2001 and with the help of a Heritage Lottery Grant and financial support from Bolton Council we have helped to secure the renovation and reopening of the Rock Garden in 2012. We meet at 10.00am on Tuesday mornings outside the Walled Garden (weather permitting) and carry out light general garden maintenance in both gardens for a couple of hours.
