We provide work placements with work related educational classes for learning disabled adults, learning at a level that is related to his or her ability with qualified teachers and trained support staff. The project provides learning disabled with work experience and life skills through the selling of donated used goods. Life skills are not always taught directly but often learned indirectly through experience and practice. At the project skills are taught that are relevant to each student. Bolton Mets are a community Rugby League Club formed in Breightmet and in 2020 we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Since the clubs formation in 1995, we have operated one open age team with hundreds of players making appearances for the Mets along the way. In 2013 we formed a link with Bolton RUFC meaning we are now based at Bolton Rugby Club in Avenue Street, just off Chorley Old Road. Bolton OCD Support Group is a fortnightly run peer support group to support adults who are living with OCD. We welcome family members, carers and friends too who wish to accompany their loved ones.
