We provide Scouting at a variety of venues on different evenings throughout the Bolton borough. It is for young people age 6 to 18 years of age and we welcome adult volunteers to assist running meetings and in administrative roles as well. We provide the young people with opportunities to learn new skills, engage in the community, become independent, team-building, trying out adventurous activities, enjoying the outdoors amongst other things. We are affiliated to both Lancashire County FA and the WFA, whose insurance covers our activities. In September 2012, we were awarded the FA Charter Standard Club status.We offer training sessions for beginners and those who want to play recreationally. We are a choir for cancer patients and cancer survivors. We do not charge membership fees and we do not have auditions. We provide a positive, motivational and diversionary environment in which members can have fun, enjoy the challenge and exhilaration of performing and have a focus aside from their illness. The choir offers an informal forum to meet with others in a similar situation and benefit from mutual support and understanding.
