They work with the same three children each week during term time to improve reading ability, social skills and confidence. One and a half hours commitment twice a week is essential and we ask that you commit to a minimum of 12 months. Volunteers gain just as much from the sessions as the children do!

    We are an arts group that was set up to provide a place for people to practice art, especially those who had mental health issues, disabilities and illness. We are open to members of the wider community and have many professionally qualified artists in a magnitude of disciplines. We are open 10am until 10pm for the artists and hold at least 4 exhibitions a year. There is a workshop for hire, a kiln and studios for hire. Free internet access is available in a friendly atmosphere.
