Angels Dance, Fitness and Performance was set up in August 2010 by Melissa Finbarr-Smith, with support from her Husband, Tony. Melissa studied at Bury College, where she trained in Performing Arts, and also is a qualified Zumba Fitness Instructor, and a member of the Zumba Instructor’s Network. Melissa has a passion for teaching, and teaches Jazz dance and streetdance classes for children and adults. She also runs Bolton Zumba Fitness classes for adults. Beanstalk trains and places volunteers in local primary schools to work with 6-11 year olds. They work with the same three children each week during term time to improve reading ability, social skills and confidence. One and a half hours commitment twice a week is essential and we ask that you commit to a minimum of 12 months. We are an arts group that was set up to provide a place for people to practice art, especially those who had mental health issues, disabilities and illness. We are open to members of the wider community and have many professionally qualified artists in a magnitude of disciplines. We are open 10am until 10pm for the artists and hold at least 4 exhibitions a year. There is a workshop for hire, a kiln and studios for hire. Bolton Flat Green Bowling Club has a first class facility that during the summer months hosts not only Club Competitions but also games between Clubs of the County and National Competitions like the Middleton Cup.
