Baby Bede's Nursery has a separate under 2 year room, with their own separate play area. The under twos rooms, has a non mobile space, where sensory activities are available daily and a mobile space where the children have space to play with a wide range of sensory, construction and role play toys. Activities are changed daily to provide the children with opportunity to progress in their learning.
The toddler room, has a large space with different areas supporting the childrens development. Planned activities are carried out to challenge the children knowledge and support will be given in all activities. Our pre-school is a large room split into different areas, such as a table top activity area, soft play area and an area designed for free play. All children in our setting have the opportunity to bake with the kitchen staff, use the library and large school playground. As an extra charge, the pre-school children have the opportunity to go swimming and dance lessons. Our newly designed outdoor area is set up daily with new and exciting activites for the children to carry out, these activities based on children’s interests, as well as adult led.
Parent partnerships are very important to the setting, we hold parents stay and play groups which are designed around a certain interest. All parents get invited to join in on the stay and play sessions, to encourage parents to see what the nursery has available for their children on a daily basis.
