Bespoke Support Services for people escaping and recovering from Domestic Abuse:

Safe Haven - Home based support for people recovering from domestic violence and abuse.
Independent Domestic Abuse Advocacy (IDVA)- service for high risk victims including Sexual Violence and BME specialist advocacy.
Young Persons advise (YPDVAS) - support for 16 to 20 yrs
Pet Service - Pet fostering for pets belonging to victims needing temporary accommodation.

Who is it for: Age Range: 16+

Circumstances: Services for women, men, vulnerable young adults, children and their pets escaping and recovering from Domestic Abuse in Bolton.

How to access this service: Referral: Yes

Brief Description: Referral forms can be e-mailed faxed or posted only open to people escaping and recovering from Domestic Abuse.

Information required when applying for our service:

Proof from referring agency that they are escaping DAV

Length of service delivery: IDVA - 12 weeks
YPDVA - 4-6 months
Safe Haven- 4-6 months
Pets service- up to 12 months
Capacity of the service: Safe Haven - 38 people (home based support)
YPDVA - 15 people
IDVA- all MARAC referrals received each month via sharepoint approx 40-50 per month
Pet Service - 25 pets at any one time
Advice/Guidance this service can offer: Safety planning and advise for people recovering from Domestic Abuse and violence.
