Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank

Part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks, working in partnership with local churches. We work with frontline care professionals in the local community to provide emergency food to people going through crisis situations. Upon receipt of a voucher from a care professional - such as money advisors, social workers, doctors or the Citizens Advice Bureau among others - people living in Farnworth, Kearsley and some areas of Little Hulton, can get 3 days worth of emergency food from our centre, as well as signposting to agencies which can help with the long term solutions. We provide breathing space in tight situations. All food we collect is donated by the public, we are a voluntary organisation that believes in the power of the local community. We aim to revive hope and restore dignity to those in desperate situations.

- We have additional centres - please see referral form for details of when/where our foodbank centres are open.
